Oportunidade Gerente de Projetos

OPEN POSITION: PROJECT MANAGER

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:


Main technical contact point and responsibility for the existing customer
Responsibility to ensure high customer satisfaction
Technical responsibility of the customer
Technical service planning and reporting
Timely and pro-active communication on support processes and new releases
Manages the support handover from project organisation to support organisation
Follow-up customer PR/IR activity
Preparing CR effort estimates and CR delivery plans
Preparing effort estimates and proposals
Project scheduling and delivery planning
Task quality control and follow-up
Project scope management
Ensures project profitability including timely invoicing, cost follow-up and reporting
Risk identification and management
Product patch delivery
Specification reviews
Maintaining customer documentation and delivery data information
Identification of CR sales opportunities within assigned customers
Information sharing of customer cases within the region
Support contract review, follow-up and reporting
DoC Project Management
Project Status reporting
Internal and External Steering Board Meeting Organization
Ability to handle multiple projects and teams in a multicultural environment

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:

- Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
- PMP certified (desirable)

LANGUAGES:

- Fluent in English
- Advanced Spanish

WORK EXPERIENCE
5 to 8 years of experience as Project Manager in BSS/OSS Telecom industry (preferably OSS)
- 2 to 4 years of experience in OSS/BSS Telecom – software development or support. (preferably OSS)
- Knowledge of Unix platform/ Oracle (PL/SQL) – as a user
- Past experience with programming languages

EXPECTED PROFILE:

- good knowledge of the brazilian/latin american telecom market
- very good communication and negotiation skills
- good professional posture

- team player
- willing to handle different tasks at the same time (including technical tasks)
- willing to travel abroad (when necessary)
- Brazilian citizenship or permanent visa

COMPENSATION PACKAGE
Fixed salary: TBD
Variable salary: 10% bonus upon annual salary (12X).
